External Well* for use with Recirculating Bathing System

The unique Forever Stainless Steel External Well* consists of a 9-inch x 9-inch container (open on top), integrally attached to the drain end of the bathtub. Available on any Forever Stainless Steel bathtub equipped with the Built-in Lift-out Hairtrap Drain System*. The bottom of the External Well* is approximately 4 inches lower than the bottom of the bathtub. The External Well* is designed to accommodate the pump for a recirculating bathing system. The External Well* provides these advantages:

• Creates a separate space for the recirculating pump, keeping the pump out of the bathing area. This frees up additional working area. It also promotes safety by making the pump inaccessible to any interference by animals.
• The bottom of the External Well* is approximately 4 inches lower than the bottom of the bathtub. This means that the cross section of area needed to be filled with water to provide for proper operation of the pump is much less than if the pump sat on the bottom of the tub. The amount of water and shampoo used may thus be reduced up to 75% (with no loss of effectiveness) .
• All water that is recirculated must pass through the Hairtrap Drain Basket* before being repumped, so the pump is less likely to clog with hair.
• An external drain valve allows the tub to be drained without the need to reach through dirty water to access a drain plug. Draining the bathtub is as simple as turning a handle.
